Fiat boss Sergio Marchionne wants to build Mazda cars in Fiat and Chrysler plants around the world. When Alfa Romeo and Mazda revealed last week that they would be developing a new small roadster together – well, Alfa Romeo would take the next generation MX-5 and sculpt on a new body to make a new Alfa Spider – we suggested Mazda would be better of getting Fiat to build their cars. It seems Fiat boss Sergio Marchionne thinks the same.
The Vauxhall Corsa VXR Blue
Just a couple of months after we had the 2011 Vauxhall Corsa facelift we get treated to a Limited Edition ‘Hot’ Corsa – the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Blue. You won’t be shocked to learn the ‘Blue’ bit relates to the paint job on this VXR, which comes in fetching Arden Blue Metallic paint and is garnished with a set of 18″ alloys, tinted glass, Recaros and bespoke interior air vents (no, we have no idea either). And that’s it.
Aspid Cars released the first set of photos of its upcoming GT-21 Invictus sports car. We last heard from the Spanish company in May when it was admonishing us for Photoshopping its teaser photo into view. The GT-21 looks aggressive, angular and wildly styled by IFR Automotive.
